Monday, August 7th:
August 7th: A new gallery has been opened on Tempest's page for her third year! Included is a page with all of the photos from her third birthday (and very first party). Another two photos were added to the 30-36 month gallery, which marks the end of her second year. Happy birthday, baby!

July 20th - My maternity section was reorganized for pregnancy #3 and a new section was added for portraits. Only a few are available publicly, but if I know and love you I'll give you the password for the rest.
Tuesday, July 11th:
July 11th - It's been way, way too long since I updated the site. We've moved house and are now settled in. Family and friends who do not have our updated contact information can [email me] for it, just let me know who you are.

December 17th - 21 new pictures up in Tempest's section. Added a newsletter, to which people can subscribe to receive emails regarding updates to this site. This makes it easier than returning to the website on a daily basis to check for new text.
Friday, November 11th:
November 11th - Our son Jericho was born, and died, on November
1st. My maternity section has been updated with pictures and a message
with his birth statistics.
The last of the belly pictures, and a comparison photo were also added
to the second pregnancy section.

Friday, August 5th:

The second Maternity section is up. Clicking on any "maternity"
link around the site will take you to a page to choose between each
pregnancy. The second one doesn't have much in it yet, obviously. It
will grow as I do.

Saturday, March 26th:
Wedding photos, Maternity portraits, belly photos and belly cast page are all up. The only thing left to do is to flesh out the 'wedding' section, but the site is essentially 'done'. There are no more old pages left.

Photography section is live! Zipped videos added within Tempest's section, please keep on your own computer if you intend to view them again.
Tempest - Videos are up as links to zip files. I've had to remove any direct linking to movie files, because of bandwidth leeching. Please save the files on your computer if you intend to view them again, I only have 1gig of bandwidth per month.
Wednesday, March 9th:
Welcome to summerstorms version 2.0! Site overhaul is almost complete. New sections are live, and have been tested for bugs in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera. There are several new features, including a "last updated" script underneath the main text box which shows the date and time that the last changes occured on this page. There is also one located on Tempest's page. Please report any bugs by clicking the mail icon next to the copyright.
Thursday, March 3rd:
The site overhaul is coming shortly. I've been working very hard the last few days and have quite a few pages done. This site will no longer be just for Tempest, but a personal website with a Tempest section. This page will still be accessible under the current address, but you will have to select the 'tempest' link from a navigation bar instead of just jumping into it. Keep watch, it will be up soon.
Tuesday, February 15th:
- The movies page was updated with one video. I tried to add two, but ran out of storage at Angelfire. Finding places to store videos is very, very hard. I can't store them on my domain, because it sucks the bandwidth like mad.
- Took away the 'milestones' feature on Tempest's page, because no one looks at it anyway.
- Deleted the "Tempest is one" header, because she's 18 months now...
- Added a disclaimer to the growth charts.
- Fixed the screwed up preview thumbnails on the 18-24m page.
Saturday, February 11th:
Wow, that update only took three months...
- Added 40 pictures to the 12-18 month section, which finished it off.
- Added six photos to the new 18-24 month section. She's half-way to two years old now.
At some point, I will get to posting new videos, but they suck bandwidth from this site like mad, and it only takes a few days of views before no one can see the site for the rest of the month. Until I find somewhere else to host them, or can afford more bandwidth, you're probably out of luck.
Also, when I have the time, I will probably be doing a complete rehaul of this website so that I can include things other than pictures of Tempest. I have essays and photography and various other non-child-related things I want to host, and I may reroute this section of the website for family only and give a redirect to it on a splash page. The rest would be devoted to my personal projects, and showing off for potential clients.
This probably won't happen for a while, because I've accepted another web design job that is really, really huge - that'll take up my time for a while. Keep watch for any more updates. I will let you know ahead of time.

- There have been no updates for a while and you'll have to wait a little bit longer still. I'm absolutely swamped with work; doing web design for a friend, up to my ears in cloth nappy orders, and I'm working six hours a day on one or the other. The website is taking a back seat right now. Rest assured there are more pictures and updates, and they will come eventually.
Tuesday, September 7th:

Sunday, August 22nd:
We took a long (and rather exhausting) trip back down to the Island with Tempest to attend a friend's wedding where I was a bridesmaid (with a nursing-friendly gown!). I came back with a ton of photos, so this is a massive update.
- Created a new section: 12-18 months. One and a bit pages of photos of our toddler. 22 new pictures in total.
- New Milestones added to her page.
- A photo collage of Tempest's first year added to her page to celebrate her birthday.
- Added Tempest's new height and weight graphs to her page.
- Added a "day in the life", which is linked from the portraits & projects page (Because it's a project, right?). It is a photo-diary of Tempest's birthday, which also includes a movie. Please download to your computer instead of using my bandwidth; I am running low.
I also have this nifty thing from Lilypie. Trying to figure out where to put it where it doesn't look tacky, which is difficult considering it is has a hard time not being tacky just about anywhere...

- Added a movie. I finally got her while she was walking (and enjoying freedom from those evil binds of modern society: clothes. That part, at least, is easy to capture as she's entered the "AURGH! Clothes like burning!" stage of life) Few things in the world are cuter then toddling naked babies.
- Added two pictures to the 9-12months4 page. This is the first 'set' that's gone past three pages of pictures. I think I'm taking too many pictures - but I don't hear anyone complaining.

Saturday, July 17th:
Tempest won first prize in a crawling contest, within the 11-12 month category. She was a slow start, but shot off like a rocket after about 20 seconds, passing the other baby right next to the finish line. We got several comments on how fast she was.
- Added 25 new pictures, which are within the 9-12month3 and 9-12month4 page.
- Updated the milestones about 20 times.

- I lied. Three more photos were added to a 'random' section on the 3-6month3 page, because I just got a new scanner and had some old photos I never got into the computer before this afternoon. As I have no other cameras with film that old, I can safely say THAT IS THE LAST of the photos for that section. I think
- Started the 9-12 month section with a spew of new photos (well, seven anyway). A few picture her younger than 9 months, but that's okay.
- Updated the milestones.
- Added four more photos to the portraits page, they are coloured versions of the black & white portraits that were posted previously.
Tuesday, May 4th:
- Three photos added to the 6-9month3 page, which finishes it, as Tempest is now nine months old. As soon as I take more photos, I'll start filling the 9 to 12 month gallery. How scary is that?
- Fixed the preview on the third 6-9 month page which was showing the same 'yam' picture twice, even though it links to two seperate photos
- Completely re-designed the photo navigation image map on Tempest's main page, it now includes a link to the 9-12 month gallery (currently empty) and to another gallery which shows off portraits and results of my screwing around with Paintshop Pro.

Monday, May 3rd:
- At long last, I've added a milestones scrolling box on Tempest's page. It will be updated regularly (in descending order, with most recent at the top) to showcase Tempest's latest milestones and other notable happenings. The scrollbox currently shows "6-9 month milestones", you can click the links underneath to show 1-3, or 3-6.

No promises on how much I manage to get done. I've been working on this forever and it seems like I never have time to do more than a few photos at a time.
- 6-9 Month section started, and page one is finished. It's been linked to on Tempest's page, and from the other photo pages. I changed the layout a bit to make navigation easier, and also because writing five different captions for essentially the same photo got too hard. Yes I know, I'm lazy.
- Confused link on the links page was fixed.
- 7 month weight/height update added on the table within Tempest's page
Sunday, Febuary 22nd - While baby sleeps:
- 3-6month section is now linked via Tempest's page. Which means it's done until I get film from my camera developed to add a 'random' area, totalling 40 photos thus far.
- Added an 'under construction' page, which will be seen when trying to access to the 6-9 month gallery until I start working on it.

Tuesday, January 6th - Bedtime:
So, the website was taken down for no apparent reason (retrospect tells me it's because I tried to upload a file larger than 1mg), and now they've changed the rules at the homstead so I cannot have image galleries. So, a long search and one credit card application later... and we have a new website.
- Added more photos to the 1-3 month section, and started the 3-6 month.
- Added a 'random photo' gallery, because when I get film in my camera developed and the photos scanned, I have to go through an hour of reorganizing files and webpages in order to add them back into the gallery and not disturb the chronological order of the rest of the photos. This is easier.
- Updated the height and weight section accordingly.
- Added a 'look what I can do' subsection to Tempest's page
- Added a breastfeeding support logo to the splash page (see below)
- Started the links page.
